Database command execution via SQL injection
Published Oct 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Siemens SINEC NMS before 1.0 SP2 Update 1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands in its local database. The webserver passes crafted request data into local database commands without neutralizing SQL control elements; Siemens has not disclosed the affected route or parameter. A privileged SINEC NMS account and network access to the web interface are required, and command execution can compromise database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
