Account takeover via unchecked profile update

Improper authorization in Siemens SINEC NMS before 1.0 SP2 Update 1 allows remote authenticated users to take over any account. The /edituserprofile route directly binds user-supplied JSON fields, including password, and does not verify that the requester owns the targeted account. Any authenticated user can supply an administrator's ID and username, replace that account's password, and gain administrative access.
