Data access and modification via crafted iView URL
Published Sep 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SSRF in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7.10 through 7.50 allows remote attackers to send portal-originated requests via a malicious URL. The iviewCatcherEditor accepts an attacker-supplied URL and causes the portal to issue arbitrary GET or POST requests without validating the destination. Exploitation requires a portal user to click the URL; resulting requests can read or modify portal-accessible data but do not interrupt service.
