Stored script execution via unsanitized navigation URL
Published Aug 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7.10 through 7.50 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser via a malicious link. The com.sap.tc~ep~nav~reporter.NavigationReporter servlet stores a navigation URL without sufficient sanitization and later inserts it into a report page. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a victim to follow the crafted link and then open the vulnerable servlet; script runs with the victim's portal privileges.
