CVE-2021-33700

Victim account takeover via missing authentication check

Published Sep 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Missing authentication in SAP Business One 10.0 allows local users with access to a victim's browser to log in as that victim. SAP identifies the affected locus as SBO-CRO-SEC but has not published the alternate path or browser state that accepts a session without the victim's password. Local access to the victim's browser is required; successful exploitation exposes sensitive ERP data and permits substantial application control.
