CVE-2021-33693

Administrator OS command execution via configuration-file code injection

Published Sep 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Code injection in SAP Cloud Connector before 2.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute operating-system commands. SAP has not disclosed the configuration file, parser, or command-building routine, but reports that administrator-supplied code in the file reaches OS command execution. The gate is authenticated administrative access over an adjacent network; successful exploitation can alter or interrupt the host.
