Remote code execution via unencoded chat messages
Published Sep 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in SAP Contact Center before 700 allows remote attackers to execute operating-system commands via crafted chat messages. Communication Desktop renders an accepted chat message without encoding its attacker-controlled script content, and ActiveX extends script execution to OS commands. A recipient must accept the message; execution occurs with that recipient's privileges and can compromise data or interrupt the workstation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
