CVE-2021-33665Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via insufficient output encoding

Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site scripting in SAP GUI for HTML on SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The SAP record identifies SAP GUI for HTML as the locus and says its output path insufficiently encodes user-controlled input, but discloses no affected function or field. Exploitation requires an authenticated attacker and a separate user to render the crafted content, enabling limited disclosure or modification of browser-accessible data.
