Heap-data disclosure via unchecked SparseToDense input count
Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in MindSpore 1.2.0 and later before 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to read heap data via malformed SparseToDense inputs. The SparseToDense shape-inference routine indexes its heap-backed input collection without first requiring at least three elements. A crafted model must reach shape inference, and the resulting read exposes adjacent heap contents rather than modifying data or interrupting execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
