CVE-2021-33633

Command injection via pipe-delimited argument parsing

Published Mar 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024

OS command injection in openEuler aops-ceres and aops-zeus 1.3.0 through 1.4.1 allows local users to execute commands. The execute_shell_command function in ceres/function/util.py splits a composed command string at pipe characters, treating pipe syntax from user input as additional commands. Exploitation requires low local privileges and user interaction; injected commands run with the affected process's permissions.
