Authenticated code execution via unsafe ASP file uploads
Published Jun 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in RSA Archer 6.8.00500.1003 P5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on the host. The IconUploadHandler.ashx and GraphicUploadHandler.ashx endpoints accept arbitrary ASP files and place them where the web server can execute them. An Archer account and discovery of the affected endpoints are required; a successful upload runs a web shell with access to server files and can expose sensitive data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
