Stored script execution via disabled request filtering
Published May 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Shopizer before 2.17.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another administrator’s browser via customer_name. The global XssFilter registration and its request-wrapping doFilter path were commented out, so customer_name reached database-backed admin views without filtering. Administrative access is required to save the payload, and another store administrator must load a customer, order, or home view to execute it.
