Stack-based buffer overflow in Geutebrück G-Cam E2 and G-Code firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute code as root. The instantrec.cgi handler performs string manipulation on the action parameter without checking its length, overflowing a stack buffer used by the CGI process. Direct exploitation requires administrator access, while a separate authentication bypass exposes the endpoint without credentials on some firmware configurations.
