Unauthenticated device crash via integer-underflowed memcpy
Published Jun 25, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Denial of service in Weidmüller Industrial WLAN devices through 1.16.18 or 1.11.10 allows remote attackers to crash affected devices. ServiceAgent processes a crafted packet with an integer underflow, causing a large memcpy to access unmapped or out-of-bounds memory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is an availability interruption rather than data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
