Authenticated code execution via JDBC driver upload
Published Mar 30, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Remote code execution in Software AG MashZone NextGen 10.7 GA and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on the host. The com.idsscheer.ppmmashup.business.jdbc.DriverUploadController installs an administrator-supplied JDBC driver without restricting its executable behavior. Administrative console access is required; successful abuse grants command execution or webshell deployment on the server.
