Browser script execution via unescaped tag URL
Published Feb 24, 2023 · Updated Mar 12, 2025
Cross-site scripting in MiniCMS 1.10 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser through a crafted tag URL. The homepage tag route places an attacker-controlled path segment into generated HTML without neutralizing an injected element and event handler. No authentication is required to construct the URL, but a visitor must load it; the script then executes in the site's browser context.
