CVE-2021-33356Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Root command execution via installer injection

Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Command injection in RaspAP 1.5 through 2.6.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root via the web interface. The installers/common.sh component interpolates attacker-controlled values into shell commands without adequate validation, allowing arbitrary command injection. Exploitation requires an authenticated remote account and results in remote code execution with root privileges on the RaspAP host.
