Privilege escalation via stored ticket-message script
Published Mar 8, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Wyomind Help Desk 1.3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. The customer ticket submission path stores the content field without neutralizing script markup, which executes when an administrator opens the ticket. A customer account and administrator interaction are required; the script runs in the administrator's session and can change Help Desk settings.
