Remote command execution via HTTP response deserialization
Published Apr 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unsafe deserialization in Software AG MashZone NextGen 10.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands via HTTP responses. ZHttpRequestHelper.errorResponse deserializes the body of a crafted status-570 response as an untrusted Java object. Exploitation requires an application request to an attacker-controlled server; the advisory does not identify how attackers trigger that request.
