Unauthenticated SQL execution via unneutralized CGI input

SQL injection in the CGI component of Synology Media Server before 1.8.1-2876 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The CGI component fails to neutralize attacker-controlled special characters before placing them in an SQL command, although Synology has not disclosed the endpoint or parameter. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permits database operations within the CGI process's database privileges.
