CVE-2021-33141Network attack vector

Unauthenticated network-triggered service interruption

Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper input validation in Intel Ethernet adapters and I225 manageability firmware allows remote attackers to cause a service interrupt. Intel has not disclosed the affected firmware routine, the rejected input, or the operation that mishandles it. Network access without authentication is sufficient; Intel reports availability impact only, without specifying whether the failure causes a hang, crash, or reboot.
