Protection mechanism failure in firmware for some Intel SSD DC products allows local users with high privileges to disclose information. Intel and Solidigm have not published which firmware protection fails, what operation bypasses it, or what data becomes exposed. Exploitation requires high privileges and local access to an affected drive, and the reported consequence is limited to confidentiality.
