Local code execution via unvalidated registry keys
Published May 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Improper input validation in xArrow SCADA 7.2 and earlier allows local users to execute registry keys with application-level privileges. The application accepts registry-key data without validating it before running the referenced entry, enabling attacker-controlled code execution in the xArrow process context. Exploitation requires local access and interaction with the affected application; CISA reports no internet-facing prerequisite and the resulting impact is bounded to the privileges of the application account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
