CVE-2021-33022Network attack vector

Sensitive-data disclosure via cleartext network transmission

Published Apr 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

Cleartext transmission in affected Philips Vue PACS-family products allows remote attackers to read sensitive data by sniffing network traffic. A communication channel sends sensitive or security-critical data without encryption, but public records do not identify the protocol, endpoint, field, or triggering operation. Exposure requires network access that permits traffic capture; the documented consequence is disclosure of transmitted data.
