Unauthenticated hub access via alternate channel
Published Dec 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Authentication bypass in Philips IntelliBridge EC40 and EC80 Hub C.00.04 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized hub access. The standard access path enforces authentication, but Philips has not disclosed which alternate path or channel accepts requests without it. Reachability requires access to the physically or logically isolated patient-monitoring network, where successful access permits software execution, configuration changes, and file viewing or updates.
