Missing authentication in AVEVA System Platform 2017 through 2020 R2 P01 allows remote authenticated users to invoke AutoBuild functions. AVEVA identifies the locus as the AutoBuild service but has not disclosed which requests omit identity verification or what operations they expose. The service is intended only for configuration on the Galaxy Repository node; with low-privileged network access, this flaw can be chained with related AutoBuild flaws for SYSTEM-level code execution or service interruption.
