Hard-coded credentials in Philips IntelliBridge EC40 and EC80 Hub C.00.04 and earlier allow remote attackers to gain unauthorized access. The firmware embeds credentials used for inbound authentication, outbound communication, or internal-data encryption; Philips has not disclosed their code location or interface. Exploitation requires access to the isolated patient-monitoring network and grants software execution, configuration modification, or file access.
