CVE-2021-32992Network attack vector

Arbitrary code execution via crafted project file

Published Jun 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Memory corruption in FATEK Automation WinProladder 3.30 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted project file. The project-file parser performs operations beyond a memory buffer's bounds, corrupting memory when it processes attacker-controlled file data. A victim must open the crafted file, and public records do not identify the vulnerable parser function or file field.
