CVE-2021-32972

Information disclosure via external entity resolution

Published Jul 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

XML external entity injection in Panasonic Control FPWIN Pro 7.5.1.1 and earlier allows attackers to disclose user-accessible data. The project-file XML parser resolves an attacker-specified URI and embeds the retrieved contents without restricting external entities. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted project file, and disclosure is limited to information accessible in that user's context.
