Administrative account creation via authentication bypass
Published Aug 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Authentication bypass in Delta Electronics DIAEnergie 1.7.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to create an administrative account. The CISA advisory identifies an alternate authentication path or channel but does not disclose the affected request handler or validation error. Network access to the web interface is sufficient; a created account permits later login with administrative privileges and control of monitored energy-management functions.
