Policy bypass in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Services Platform 6.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to evade computer-name controls. Rockwell Automation has not disclosed how the remote computer name is accepted or validated before FactoryTalk Security applies computer-based policy. FactoryTalk Security must be enabled and deployed; a valid low-privilege account can obtain the privileges available from the client machine.
