Unauthenticated code execution via stack buffer overflow
Published Aug 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack overflow in Advantech WebAccess/SCADA before 8.4.5 and 9.0 before 9.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. Public advisories do not identify the affected component, input, or unchecked operation that overwrites the stack buffer. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, and successful exploitation executes code on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
