Network exposure via retained uninstall firewall rule
Published Jun 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Incomplete cleanup in Thales Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment 7.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to connect through TCP port 1947. On Windows, the uninstaller removes the runtime but leaves its installer-created “Sentinel License Manager” firewall rule enabled for incoming private-network traffic. The exposure remains after uninstall; published sources establish port access but no further consequence.
