Sensitive-field disclosure via GroupBy Dashlet errors
Published Jul 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Combodo iTop before 2.7.4 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted class and field values. The GroupBy Dashlet returns otherwise restricted field values, including mailbox passwords, in an error message instead of enforcing field-level access. Non-administrator access is sufficient, and the result is disclosure of CMDB and configured mailbox data without data modification or service interruption.
