Cross-site scripting in affected TYPO3 CMS releases allows remote authenticated users to execute script through malicious rich-text content. TypoScript HTMLparser rendering omits some dangerous tag-and-attribute combinations, and incomplete backend node defaults let unsafe markup reach the frontend. Default exploitation requires a valid backend account and victim interaction; custom frontend plugins that accept and reflect rich text can expose unauthenticated visitors to script execution.
