Credential disclosure via plaintext debug logging
Published Jul 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in TYPO3 CMS allows remote authenticated users to obtain plaintext credentials from debug log records. The user-authentication logging path writes submitted credential values into DEBUG-level records without redacting the secrets. DEBUG logging must be explicitly enabled, and access to the resulting protected logs exposes affected users' credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
