CVE-2021-32754Network attack vector

File disclosure via unsafe XML entity parsing

Published Jul 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

XXE in FlowDroid before 2.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to read external files via crafted XML source and sink definitions. The XML parser processes external entities from the attacker-controlled source/sink definition file, resolving references to files at external locations. Exploitation requires use of the XML source-and-sink format and control of that definition file, limiting impact to information disclosure.
