Authenticated secret disclosure via undocumented column parameter
Published Jul 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Icinga Web 2 2.0.0 through 2.8.2 allows remote authenticated users to read protected custom variables. The host and service list routes honor the addColumns query parameter during UI, JSON, and CSV output but skip configured protection rules and blacklists. Exploitation requires a logged-in account that can access the affected hosts or services, and exposure is limited to custom-variable values reachable through those objects.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
