CVE-2021-3273Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator-gated code execution through graph templates

Published Feb 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Code injection in Nagios XI before 5.7 allows remote authenticated administrators to execute code through the graph-template management endpoint. Public records identify /nagiosxi/admin/graphtemplates.php as the vulnerable locus, but do not disclose the input field or faulty operation that places attacker-controlled text into an executable context. An administrator account in the Nagios XI web system is required; resulting code execution is bounded to the application's execution context in the available evidence.
