CVE-2021-32698Network attack vector

Blind SSRF via PDF image source fetching

Published Jun 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Blind SSRF in eLabFTW before 4.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to make arbitrary GET requests from the server. MakePdf::getContent renders attacker-controlled image source URLs into PDF HTML, and the PDF generator fetches them without the browser's CSP restrictions. Access to PDF generation is required, responses remain hidden from the requester, and server-side PHP restrictions limit further escalation.
