Unauthenticated SQL injection via unsanitized editOEN
Published Aug 29, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SQL injection in TripSpark VEO Transportation and NovusEDU 2.2.x allows remote attackers to execute SQL through crafted search input. In build 2.2.x-XP_BB-20201123-184084, the Student Busing Information search inserts the editOEN POST parameter into database queries without server-side sanitization. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; resulting data access and system compromise depend on the database account and SQL Server configuration.
