Cross-VDOM information disclosure via CLI scope failure
Published Nov 17, 2021 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Information disclosure in the FortiOS CLI allows remote authenticated users assigned to one VDOM to read data from other VDOMs. Fortinet has not disclosed the affected CLI command or implementation flaw; the interface returns admin-account and network-interface lists outside the assigned VDOM. A valid account restricted to a specific VDOM is required, and exposure is limited to cross-VDOM configuration information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
