CVE-2021-32595Network attack vector

Authenticated service interruption via repeated HTTP requests

Published Nov 2, 2021 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Fortinet FortiPortal before 6.0.6 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via HTTP. The web interface fails to limit resources consumed across multiple HTTP requests, allowing one account to exhaust capacity; Fortinet has not disclosed the affected endpoints or resource. Any low-privileged account can trigger the condition remotely, and the documented consequence is availability loss without data disclosure or modification.
