Database command execution via crafted HTTP requests
Published Aug 4, 2021 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
SQL injection in affected Fortinet FortiPortal releases allows remote authenticated users to execute database commands via crafted HTTP requests. Multiple HTTP request paths pass insufficiently neutralized user input into SQL commands, but Fortinet does not identify the affected endpoints or parameters. Regular user privileges are required; successful exploitation permits disclosure, modification, or deletion of portal database data.
