Configuration disclosure via unprotected management CGI URLs
Published Mar 17, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Improper access control in Fortinet FortiWLC 8.6.0 and earlier affected releases allows remote attackers to read configuration details. Limited web management CGI resources return configuration data when their URLs are requested without first validating an authenticated session. The management interface must be network-reachable; the published impact is limited to configuration disclosure, with no reported write or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
