Unauthenticated service interruption via malformed RTMP input
Published Jan 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper input validation in the RTMP implementation in Pexip Infinity 7 through 25.4 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Pexip has not disclosed which RTMP field is accepted without validation or how malformed input disrupts processing. No authentication or user interaction is required; reachability requires enabled RTMP support, and exploitation interrupts Infinity service without reported data disclosure or modification.
