Reflected XSS via unfiltered login parameter
Published Jun 18, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in MCU Technologies Corp. MCUsystem 5.5 allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript through the login page. A login-page URL parameter is reflected without filtering special characters, causing attacker-supplied JavaScript to execute in a visitor's browser. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted request; the script runs in the page's security context and can read or alter content accessible to that session.
