Unauthenticated file disclosure via unrestricted path parameter
Published Jul 7, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Path traversal in QSAN XEVO before 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to download arbitrary system files through its back-end analysis function. The function accepts a caller-supplied file path parameter without restricting it to an intended directory and returns the referenced file. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is read-only disclosure rather than file modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
