Arbitrary file disclosure via path traversal
Published Jul 7, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Path traversal in QSAN Storage Manager 3.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through its file-copy function. The function accepts an attacker-supplied system-file path without restricting traversal outside the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented impact is read-only disclosure rather than file modification or service interruption.
