Weak password hashing in QSAN Storage Manager 3.3.1 and earlier, XEVO before 1.2.0, and SANOS 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to recover passwords. Their credential stores apply MD5 to user passwords, permitting captured hashes to be brute-forced with insufficient computational effort. No authentication or user interaction is required, but published material does not identify how the stored hashes become remotely accessible; the bounded result is account-password recovery.
